Wedding Planning in Charleston SC

Reynolds Treasures offers wedding planning, with over 10 years combined experience Penny, Chrissy, or Jessica will professionally plan your wedding.  Chrissy is a certified wedding planner.

There are different levels of wedding coordination.  The prices for these services depend on the level of service or details involved.  For example a bride that wants us to help her with coordinating vendors is charged less than the bride that wants us to accompany her on every visit with each vendor. As with all services and packages, we can customize any service level to your needs. We do not limit the amount of personal consultations, phones calls, or emails.

Let me explain the basic job of each title, and what the duties are for the price  listed.  Want more duties or less duties, we will adjust the price!

Wedding Planners

Did you know that hiring a wedding planner (also called a wedding consultant) can be a huge help and save you money? They will provide assistance with searching for the perfect venue and find great vendors that will fit within your planning budget. Most planners  have relationships with vendors and will often be able to introduce you to professionals that  you could not find on your own. Many times the planner has relationships with vendors and gets a discounted price that she can pass onto you! Once you’ve booked your vendors, the planner will oversee the relationships with each, and help pull everything together. The wedding planner generally steps you through every process ranging from invitations, bridal gowns, tuxedo rentals to guest accommodations, welcome gifts, and total design of the event. Average time spent  on planning a wedding is 100-150 hours.

What can we say…Penny was PHENOMINAL!!! My husband and I had Penny take care of EVERYTHING regarding our wedding and she exceeded all of our expectations. We were able to enjoy our day and not worry about a thing. The venue looked like a fairy-tale and Penny made sure that every detail was taken care of on the wedding day. We can not express how GRATEFUL we are to Penny for making sure our day was everything we ever dreamed of. Thank you Penny!!

Wedding Planning Services

When we do Partial Planning; we help you organize and pull together your wedding details, but we may not handle quite as much as the traditional planner would. For example, your planner will sit down from day one to help you dream up the wedding colors, style, and decor theme and help you negotiate contracts and book vendors, whereas with partial planning we stick to finalizing all your vendor business after you’ve made the major decisions.  Be sure you’re clear on the extent of the services you are requesting and expecting. This is for the Bride that has done some/most of the vendor selection and needs assistance tying up loose ends and those final details. We are the “Go to” or point of contact for the Bride and vendors on the wedding day. Average time spent on the wedding is 75-100 hours.

“impressed by your talents and your positive energy”I just wanted email you to let you know how amazed I am by all that you gave us for the wedding! It was a miracle that you did it in less than one week! People almost don’t believe me when I say we planned that in a week because of all the special things we had at the wedding! I am really a flower person and the bouquet and the flowers were amazingly beautiful. You made sure the roses were open perfectly on the wedding day that is hard to do! George couldn’t believe how much I enjoyed having them in the room for the weekend & afterwards that I insisted on bringing them home. My hair and makeup person was wonderful and people were commenting on how beautiful my hair was. Also, the photos are absolutely amazing! You & Trey did such a wonderful job and I think it is incredible how talented he is at such a young age and how wonderful you are with the photography! The courtyard looked beautiful in spite of the wind and rainy weather and you did a wonderful job officiating the ceremony. We also loved the cellist and pretty much everything you added to the wedding. You made the cake table and a small simple cake look absolutely gorgeous as well. We are so impressed by your talents and your positive energy and helpfulness! Thank you again for making the culmination of our almost 11 year relationship into a  wonderful ceremony to move forward with our new life as husband & wife!  Day-of Coordinators

A day-of coordinator helps you get everything done on your actual wedding day, but isn’t really involved before the big day. You meet beforehand to fill them in on who’s who and what’s what and exactly how you’d like the day to play out. They will then be in charge of handling all of your vendors and set-up on the day of your wedding,  so that you and your family members can just relax and enjoy the day. Some coordinators offer the wedding rehearsal and ceremony direction as well.  A bride who plans to be very hands-on in her planning process will love the idea of a day-of coordinator. It allows her to enjoy all the ups and downs of the planning, without having to worry about seeing it all through until the very end. Average time spend on the wedding is 30-50 hours.

 Day-of Coordinator    $900

Duties include:

  • Meeting with bride at location to discuss all details
  • Pre-wedding set-up of wedding ceremony and reception site
  • Wedding party direction during the rehearsal and wedding ceremony

  • Ensure vendors follow itinerary
  • Direct guests to cocktail hour during the wedding party and family photos after the ceremony
  • Hand out copies of the itinerary to the DJ/Photographer/Caterer
  • Turn the reception over to the DJ/Caterer at the introduction of the wedding party into the reception

 “beautiful and stress free”

“A wedding is one of the most stressful, exciting, nerve wracking, and important events of a life time.  However, if you go with Reynolds Treasures the ceremony is not only going to be beautiful but also stress free. My husband and I got married on July 14th, 2012 in Charleston South Carolina at Patriots Point. Our wedding was one of unusual circumstances from the beginning. My husband is stationed in Goose Creek and I am from Massachusetts.  As we searched the internet we were lost. We did not even know where to begin.  We reached out to Penny and from the beginning she was kind and professional. Before she even got a payment or a definite yes from us she reached out to Patriots Point herself and acquired the information we needed in order to have our ceremony there. She worked around our busy schedules and made herself a hundred percent available. She helped us mold a ceremony that was perfect for both of us! On our wedding day she was well prepared and delivered it flawlessly. Never once did she stumble on a single word or phrase. She smiled and stood out in the hot sun. She even took some pictures of us which were not included in our package but rather as a gift. You can totally tell Penny loves her job! She believes in true love and that shows in her enthusiasm. When our ceremony was completed she took care of every detail. She even gave us a certificate and information on how to change my last name! Even to this day she still sends me facebook messages and follows me on Pinterst. Our wedding day was made even more perfect by Penny. Penny helped us promise forever and we sealed it with a kiss, after “you may now kiss the bride,” of course ;-)” Kirstyn and Shawn July 14th, 2012  Patriots Point
